# Enable two‑factor authentication (2FA)

> Protect your Midas Host account with authenticator app codes.

## Enable 2FA

1. Log in to [https://my.midas.host](https://my.midas.host).
2. Go to Security → Two‑factor authentication.
3. Scan the QR code with Authy, 1Password, or Google Authenticator.
4. Enter the 6‑digit code to confirm.
5. Save recovery codes.

## Tip

Prefer TOTP apps over SMS for stronger security.
